Limited Edition Petty’s Garage Mustang GT Coming to Dealerships

The vehicles on display at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas are usually one-of-a-kind concept vehicles designed to showcase an automaker’s available technologies, upgrades, add-ons, and special features. Instead, Ford and Petty’s Garage are doing something unique, and offering a limited edition of the popular Petty’s Garage Mustang GT inspired by the concept shown at last year’s SEMA.

“We received a tremendous amount of positive feedback about our Petty’s Garage Mustang GT displayed at the SEMA show,” said Jeff Whaley, Petty’s Garage COO in a recent news release. “With so much interest, we began to explore the possibility of building a limited run of the Petty’s Garage Mustang GT.”

Just 143 units of the supercharged Mustang GT will be available to order; 100 in Stage 1 trim and 43 of the Stage 2 version.

The Stage 1 trim will come with a variety of custom modifications, including a modified front fascia, a reworked rear fascia with center-exit exhaust and race-inspired spoiler, embroidered head restraints and floor mats, and Richard Petty’s signature on the dashboard.

The more exclusive Stage 2 trim will feature everything included in the Stage 1 trim, plus Petty’s Garage Wilwood big brake upgrade, Petty’s Garage HRE three-piece forged-aluminum wheels, and a unique Petty’s Garage custom two-tone paint job.

Under the hood, both trims boast a powerful 5.0-liter engine, capable of putting out a massive 627 horsepower.
