Glimpse the 2015 Expedition

Ford’s journey of excellence continued Wednesday when the 2015 Expedition made its debut at the DFW Auto Show, which runs through Sunday, February 23. This next-year model is not just a routine update, though—there’s a lot more happening than simply changing the nameplate from 2014 to 2015. The newest Expedition features advanced engine technology as well as a host of new and improved safety and technology features.

“This new Expedition is proof Ford is committed to remaining the leader in utilities – small, medium and large,” said Jackie DiMarco, Expedition chief engineer. “We listened to our customers and created a full-size utility vehicle that doesn’t compromise in performance, technology or design.”

That careful attention to customers’ desires led Ford to install their new 3.5L EcoBoost engine in the new Expedition, a smaller engine than those featured in previous Expeditions. The new EcoBoost engine provides more efficiency, and though smaller, actually increases the vehicle’s power as well.

The new Expedition also adds features like a Blind Spot Information System, the latest in Sync technology including MyFord Touch, and an accompanying 8-inch touch screen. Plus, you can take the Expedition to the next level of luxury with the new Platinum Series upgrade.

Ford picked the DFW show for the debut because Texas includes the two biggest cities for Expedition sales—Dallas and Houston. However, we know how much we enjoy a good truck here in Longview!  Stop into Pegues Hurst Ford to see our newest Ford trucks!
