Ford Begins 2015 F-150 Production at Ford Rouge Center

The moment truck lovers around the world have been waiting for is finally here—Ford has finally begun 2015 F-150 production. Over the past year, many have been anxiously waiting for the moment they can get their hands on the beloved truck and it’s finally here. The first F-150 rolled off the line earlier this week at the historic Ford Rouge Center, marking the beginning of a truck that will turn the pickup segment on its head.

“The all-new F-150 is a showcase of innovation and class-leading capability for truck customers,” said Mark Fields, Ford president and CEO. “It underscores the product excellence and innovation we are delivering in every part of our business as we accelerate our pace of progress toward profitable growth.”

2015 F-150 Production has begun.Since the truck was revealed last January at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, interest in the aluminum-bodied truck has steadily grown with 225,000 truck lovers submitting their contact information for updates. 250,000 customers are even planning ahead, building their own unique version of the F-150 on the online generator, which is a new record. For the past 37 years, the F-Series has been the best-selling truck in America and it appears that this won’t change with the 2015 model.

If you’re interested in seeing the 2015 F-150 for yourself, the pickup will be arriving in the Pegues Hurst Ford showroom within the next few months. Keep an eye out for its arrival!
