Experience Off-Road Fun in the Alligator Run Off-Road Park

There’s nothing quite like off-roading, whether you have an ATV, truck, dirt bike, or some other vehicle equipped for taking on the great outdoors. If you live in or near Longview or Easton, Texas you can experience the thrill of driving off the beaten path at the Alligator Run Off-Road Park. As the largest off-roading park in Texas, Alligator Run offers everything from sand drags to mud pits and beginner trails in order to cater to a variety of skill levels.

Just twelve miles south of Longview, Alligator Run has 70 campsites with water and electricity, as well as 140 RV hook-ups. With firewood, ice, and wash bays available, in addition to food concessions on the weekend, Alligator Run provides everything an off-road explorer could need for a weekend of fun. The park also offers a number of fun events throughout the year, with the next one being a Memorial Day ride. Make sure to check your calendar for any fun upcoming activities!

The park is partially made up of wetlands and is partially dry, so visitors can experience all sorts of terrain and obstacles while enjoying the many scenic trails, creeks, and hills. Plus, Alligator Run is on high land, so you won’t have to worry about rain making the park too muddy for off-roading. There’s also a brand new obstacle course among the many racing tracks, if that’s what you enjoy.

Alligator Run Off-Road Park is open Friday through Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, but if you’d like to reserve a weekday pass, you can call ahead. Pricing for the whole weekend for just one person is $15, while the one day price for a single person drops to $10. Tent camping is free, but you can call beforehand to reserve an RV campsite.

So what’s stopping you from enjoying this hidden gem?
