Ford’s Dearborn Plant Prepping for F-150 Production

Now having been around for a full decade, the Ford Dearborn Truck plant is being rewarded by the Blue Oval for its longevity and reliability. The plant will have the privilege and challenge to build the widely anticipated, aluminum-infused 2015 F-150. It’s in 10th year the plant has all ready produced over 2.6 million F-150s, helping the F-Series keep its title of America’s best selling truck and vehicle for the last decade. The Dearborn crew – who currently produce 1,200 trucks a day – will now be turning their attention to the 2015 F-150.Ford F-150 2015 to be produced at Dearborn plant

“Dearborn Truck Plant has set world-class standards for efficiency and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes,” said Bruce Hettle, vice president, Ford North America manufacturing. “There is no better way to celebrate 10 years of top-notch manufacturing than gearing up to build the all-new F-150. The hardworking men and women of Dearborn Truck are excited to bring this Built Ford Tough truck to our customers.”

This summer the Dearborn Truck Plant will transform into an even more state of the art facility to be equipped to build the new F-150.
